What happens when my initial commitment term ends?
If you are a holder of a green card/permanent resident visa, you are free to
pursue any employment opportunity you wish. You can remain at the
facility you are currently working at or apply at any other facility in the
United States. You do not even have to work as a Registered Nurse.
If you are a holder of a temporary visa and wish to stay in the United States
you will need to continue to have an employer sponsor you for your
temporary work permit and are required to work as a Registered Nurse or in
another eligible profession granted under your temporary visa program.
