What happens if I fail NCLEX-RN after I have arrived in the
United States?
If you fail the NCLEX-RN examination you will be unable to work for your
intended employer as a Registered Nurse until such time as you are able
to pass. Most states require a 45 day waiting period before you can
re-take the exam after you have failed it.
